The Philippines National Day, or Independence Day is celebrated on the 12th of June. The Philippines embassy has organizes a reception to this occasion. At the same time it was a farewell party for the ambassador of the Philippines, because it was her last year in the Czech Republic. The surprise guest of the evening was the new Czech president, Miloš Zeman.
