These pictures from London are from the year 2010. I was on my way to a scientific conference named XTOP, which was held in Brighton. That time my good friend was working in London so I decided to go a few days earlier and spend some time in London with him. As soon as we checked in in the hostel we went to town. Because London is one of the biggest cities in the world I was not very surprised by the masses in the streets. But on these masses was something strange. After a few minutes a registered that most of them had flags in their hands. I remembered that that weekend the pope was visiting London after a long time. As destiny wanted after an hours a small white bus with many police cars drove next to us. It was full of red caps and one white one in the middle of them. The next day we visited most of the touristic sides. I had the feeling that London is full of Czechs and Slovak, every time we stopped somewhere we heared our language. As in Paris so in London you can see the ethnic parts of the city just by crossing the whole city. The city is like an ethnic sandwich, fist is the Indian layer, then the Jewish, the Moslem…
